Brookside Wildflower Honey

Description

Starting in 2019 our primary apiary moved to Brookside Nova Scotia.

Honey from this apiary tends to be light to medium in colour and has a soft buttery taste.

Our hives are situated along the edge of the Terence Bay Provincial Wilderness Area which provides a rugged natural habitat for many types of wildflowers and trees. Brookside does have quite changeable weather with more fog and rain that other parts of the province, but we see this as an overall benefit as the area is less affected by bouts of dry weather which lessens available nectar for the bees.

All of our raw honey is cold extracted by hand and unpasteurized for maximum flavour.
